What we offer with our inspections:

Many of us pay home owner's insurance premiums for years and thankfully never need to file a claim.  However, over the past few years major hail and wind storms have damaged roofs all over metro Atlanta to an extent that insurance companies are paying for their replacement.  The truth is that you may have damage and not know it.  We are professional, honest, and thorough.  If you have damage then we will show it to you.  If you don't, we will tell you that too so that you can have piece of mind that your roof does not have storm damage.

So, here's what we offer you.  We will do an free, no obligation, inspection of your roof. Then, if you have storm damage, we will provide you with a thorough inspection report so that you can see what we have seen on your roof and have it in your hands when your adjuster arrives.  So, let a sharp dressed, professional who has the knowledge required provide a detailed report of the true condition of your roof.

Our Standards of Quality
Metal in your valleys and ice & water shield around all of your penetrations makes a huge difference in quality of the installation of your roof.

Most companies don’t use ice and water shield.  We provide both of these to you at no cost.
It is our standard of quality.

Valley Metal

Picture

Why do we install metal under the shingles in every valley?  The question might be "why doesn't everyone?"  Unfortunately what happens is that some roofers don't do this.  Then, when someone climbs all around your roof to clean your gutters they walk in the valleys and tear your new shingle.  We always install valley metal.  We're more concerned that you have a correct installation so we do this on all of our roofs.  It's our standard.

Ice and Water Shield

Picture
This is mostly used up north where the snow sits on the roof and melts and then re-freezes over and over.  We use it here in Georgia because it minimizes the chance of our roofs leaking in the future.  We place it around all penetrations like your furnace/plumbing vents and fireplace.  We're big fans of the truth, and the truth is that you don't want the leak and we don't want the call.

UV Protective Collars

Picture
This collar actually slides down on top of the plumbing boot.  When the UV rays destroy the little rubber seal, and believe us they will, the one on the plumbing boot below is kept in tact and is still protected from the sun.  Those darn UV rays.

Let's talk proper ventilation.

As you can see from the illustration to the left, all airflow into the attic should come from soffit vents and should exit the attic at the highest point possible.  As the attic heats up the hot air vents through the ridge vents and cooler air is automatically drawn in through the soffit vents.

Shingle Selections

Please feel free to ask us about other options.  There are other options out there, but we like these - and not because we make more money from using them.  Ask us about warranties.  We'll tell you the truth.
