Alan Boyd
In this line of business it is important to point out that our Owner has passed the thorough federal background check that is required to even take the general contractor's exam in the state of Georgia.
Alan is a native of Marietta Georgia. He obtained a degree in Business Administration in 1992 from Pensacola Christian College. He has spent all of his life, outside of his youth and time away at college, in the commercial construction industry. He made the change to residential roofing, renovations, restorations, and typical home repair in March of 2010 by opening Boyd Construction Services, of which Boyd Residential is a division. He still owns and operates Boyd Construction, Inc. and pursues some construction management projects. However, his primary focus is now in the residential market.
Alan blends his over twenty-three years of experience in construction with his attention to detail from being a seasoned project manager and his high moral standards to create something not often found in the construction industry - an honest contractor that's good at what he does. He believes in treating people the way he would want to be treated, and that has taken him far in this industry. He's also very good at seeing someones vision of their renovation.
Alan has been a member of North Point Community Church for over 15 years and has been actively involved by serving there for a majority of that time.
